Rubin Observatory encourages you to participate in scientific discovery of the cosmos with one of the largest public datasets in the world! Get involved as a scientist or as an institution. 

  • The recruitment of member institutes interested in helping science preparations is led by the LSST Corporation [1]: contact LSSTC for more information.
  • Join a Science Collaboration [2]: as a science collaboration member you will have a direct line of communication with the Rubin Observatory Project, representation in the LSSTC Executive Board, and gain access to collaborations' proprietary data products and software. 
  • Join the Scientists Mailing List [3]: our mailing lists provide important information and announcements including project status and meetings. 
  • The community.lsst.org [4] forum is publicly available for scientific and technical discussion and community-based software support.
  • Be informed by subscribing to our Project Digest [5].
  • Contact us using the contact form [6].
