P5 recommends moving ahead with LSST
The Particle Physics Program Prioritization Panel (P5) advises the Department of Energy Office of Science through its High Energy Physics Advisory Panel (HEPAP). P5 was charged with making a roadmap for research in particle physics. At the October HEPAP meeting in Washington DC the P5 committee recommended LSST for ground-based probes of Dark Energy.

The LSST is the only project capable of implementing all four techniques. It has already received R&D support from the National Science Foundation.
